I always enjoy these round-ups so much - and the Berthe Weill memoir sounds fascinating. Thank you, as always, for sharing!

Oh, I just saw your note about re-sizing images...it took me a while to figure out, too, but there are two little vertical lines on either side of the image that you can adjust.

Thanks! And yes, I’m bookmarking that Weill memoir. The title is irresistible.

In my experience of resizing images, if you click on edit image option then the left and right sides of the photo can be moved either in or out and the image size is changed that way. I definitely reduced the size of images in my latest post that way. Hope this helps! Liz

That's helpful, I had been struggling... but why did they mess with a perfectly good system!!!

Yes I was a bit thrown to start with when I realised they’d changed the system!

Thanks for this! I have a few free days coming up to take some day trips and enjoy the foliage. I will certainly hit Claverack!

I too have had trouble adjusting to the new system for resizing images. Honestly, though, I think these are the right size. Thank you for the tour. The wealth of art to see in New York is even more vast than I knew.

Thanks, Eliza. You’re part of my inspiration for this post — and I’ve been thinking about your latest. It takes me a while to comment sometimes.

Welcome back into your "new" home -- of course it's also disruptive! Re the image sizes--I am figuring this out also but I believe one way to start is to scale down the image before you turn it into a Jpeg, as there are few options for sizing (in my experience) once the image is copied into Substack.
