What a fascinating and complex story and woman. No wonder relationships with her were complicated! I know for myself, the older I get, the easier it is to smooth out the rough edges of memory and, at least consider if not exactly embrace, that there was a lot more going on that I wasn't privy to or simply couldn't yet understand. I think that's why this kind of ancestral work is so powerful and necessary. Thanks for sharing Marie with us!
